I wonder if it is legal to put a transfer type plate on the bonnet, and if so how it would look. See to recall car such as E type jags often had such in the past.
Not legal, apparently though I suppose some take the risk and get away with it.
Fixing of registration plates: vehicles registered before the relevant date
7. - (1) This regulation applies to vehicles, other than works trucks, road rollers and agricultural machines, first registered before the relevant date.

(2) Except as provided in paragraph (4), a registration plate must be fixed in the manner required by paragraph (3) on -

(a) the front of the vehicle, and

(b) the rear of -

(i) the vehicle or,

(ii) where the vehicle is towing a trailer, the trailer or,

(iii) where the vehicle is towing more than one trailer, the rearmost trailer.

(3) This paragraph requires each plate to be fixed -

(a) in a vertical position or, where that is not possible, in a position as close to the vertical as is reasonably practicable, and

(b) in such a position that in normal daylight the characters of the registration mark are easily distinguishable, in the case of a plate fixed on the front of the vehicle, from in front of the vehicle and, in the case of a plate fixed on the rear of the vehicle or trailer, from behind the vehicle or trailer.

Thank you, shame as the Z3 does look much better without the front plate. Some USA states allow this I believe.

Perfectly legal, my mx5 had one for 2 years and the previous owner had it for 5 years

This is the case in Florida Ian, and yes the cars look so much nicer without the plate cluttering up the front end. One down side is, although I haven't yet seen it enforced. is that you should always pull forwards into the kerb or a parking space at a mall or whatever so that police can drive past and see the number plate.

Bunch of hypocrites, work for a Yank company over here and you have to reverse park for "safety reasons"

Great job on your car, very impressed, particularly with the Scuff master, what great stuff. The new hood looks great too, can I ask where you got it from ?....Got to change the dash in mine, can't say I am looking forward to that, being colour blind.

Oh, and I'm sure your shiny knob is impressive too !

I'm having Burgundy...in stayfast, rather than twillfast (only because the shade is slightly more to the Wife's liking....and I know which side my bread is buttered....if you know what I mean).....just an extra £100 because of the colour.

Also having the back window altered a little bit because with the body kit on, the bottom of the back window almost disappears below the rear body....so narrowing it by about 3 or 4 inches up from the bottom. Should look a bit more authentic, and a bit less BMW.

Didn't phase the boys at Croydon, as they cut bought in material using their own computer pattern cutter, so they just feed in the new data to the computer and change the window size, all very professional.

One place wanted £1500 for this.....£600 all-in, including fit, at Croydon....bargain.

Go down to your local Long life exhaust centre. They will be happy to help.
Okay - let me rephrase.

What is the name of this quad catback exhaust system?
