I like the plate position :)
I'd like a metal front plate but can't find anywhere that does metal in custom size (I've got smallest possible legal size but in Perspex).

How are you getting on with the rim blades?
I need look at some silver ones, could have saved me having to have the lips redone after a kerb jumped into the road (they tend to do that just after you've paid for a full refurb...)

Car is looking awesome!

Just read this from start to finish. Excellent stuff. Some serious time, money and knowledge put into your car. Looks superb. I do like the dyed tonneau cover, nice touch.

What a brilliant thread. Your car looks fantastic and you should be really proud of it.
On the downside, you've given me a whole host of ideas that I don't have the ability,
or the cash to complete. I love the carbon wrap centre console and those AC wheels
with the blue. Stunning. Phil

Not sure why some of the photos are not showing on some posts?
Thanks for highlighting that Pete, I've just spent an hour tracking down what caused it! There is a very long complicated and tedious reason for them not displaying right now, but suffice it to say I've changed the setting which causes it and the images will eventually display on the thread (probably in the next few days).

Oh, and top work on your Zed Pete, it's a real stunner!

Nerdy explanation for those who want it..... Basically put some of the flickr images you embedded were over the maximum image cache size, so the system wouldn't display them. I've changed the value so that it won't have an issue in the future, just have to wait for the cached images to expire and they will be refetched correctly! This issue was only ever going to show on images from an image host service, such as Flickr, PhotoBucket etc. It's why we allow you to upload your images directly on to the site ;)

I like having the plate there. I would get a shorter plate to make it claner. I had mine on the M there.

Car is really looking nice Pete, the new ACS hoops have prompted a conversation between myself and @PHILIP BAXTER. We are trying to work out which is the best wind deflector that accommodates the shape of the ACS hoops. Phil had bought a regular perspex deflector and tried to mount it to the rear of the bars with a less than satisfactory fit.

He mentioned you cut your own? Do you think we could have a few pics of how you mounted it? Did you cut a recess for the foam pad?

I wondered if @Lee might fancy cutting a couple of custom ones?

I wonder if it is legal to put a transfer type plate on the bonnet, and if so how it would look. See to recall car such as E type jags often had such in the past.
