The H.K is a 10 speaker system all ran off a amp in the boot.
It was/is BMW's premium sound system and was classed as an up grade.
The standard system still runs an amp on the passenger side front speaker but i think its 6 speaker.
The additions are mids in the doors
and a subwoofer (or2 dependent on year)
 
5 minute mod today

replaced the e36 mirror with this mini mirror. Still auto dimming

going to mod the mount next to move it higher up to improve visibility

I like his style. Must be nice hearing that on a cold start, so quiet with the standard set up.

Be careful repeatedly removing and replacing the Mini mirror, as you will round the windscreen mount (the part that is actually stuck to the windscreen), resulting in a vibrating mirror. I think the Mini mirror arm is made of a harder metal than the e36/Z3 arm, hence the problem.

(I had mine on and off a fair amount when figuring out the wiring, and this happened. The vibration didn't affect visibility, but was just a tad annoying.)
 
Started to refurb my new wheels yesterday as had the day off.

this stuff is evil! paint on and leave for 10 minutes then start scraping off.

need to get some decent abrasives on the odd spots that are left.
 
They look amazing!!!!

but i'm going for standard silver painted finish as i cant be arsed polishing them (been there and done that with BBS RMs)
