Hello @5harp3y

I am looking to rust proof the wings from the inside.backside while they are off, is Dynax S50 the best product? I have seen people using waxoil and other products like stone guard spray etc... thanks.
The Bilt hamber range is incredible .check out their website for the technical reasons why.

I've used it for years and it is superb

One can has so far coated.

Two sill cavities, two sill covers and two wings for me

How do you coat the inside of the rails behind the sill covers? Do you put a straw on the nozzle and spray through the round holes? Thanks

For waxoil you use a long tube, set it going and just pull it along every few holes the nozzle has 4 holes pointing outwards so it coats in all directions

Thanks for the information, sorry for the many questions but it's the first time I do this. So I guess it's impossible to clean the insides of the frame rails right, you just apply the rustproofing/waxoil through the holes in whichever condition they are and hope for the best, the outside I guess you can sand back any rust and then apply the product.

I will let you guys know how I get on.

Any other places that you recommend to spray apart from the backs of the wings and sills and the rails behind the sills please?

Thanks for all the advice

I hope it does not come to that - I am looking at using Dynax S80 inside the frame box section and then cover the outside and the back of the wings with Electrox - then cover with stone chip over that, please give me a shout if that would not be the right thing to do for some reason. Ta

The Bilt hamber comes with a Lance that you insert through the holes and spray.

No need to clean inside just coat with dynax

Back of every panel. Especially in the arches as they are dirt traps

Great write up, very handy for a new guy like me to read all this! I am finishing up a facelift upgrade too, and with the ASC/DSC connector change, does going from a 5-way (prefacelift) to a 4-way (facelift) not affect the DSC system? Where did you get your connector?

No problem at all and the connector was just spare behind the dash or any breaker will be able to get you one
