Do you find any difference after the gearbox mounts were changed?
I'd get the lifting rear beam bushes if you can - don't know if there is any downside to them, I'm guessing they more expensive maybe but wil save you on tyres. More contact patch on the rears can't be a bad thing.

i havent driven much in anger yet but i went for the 80a mounts which are smiliar to OEM rubber.

it feels tighter but thts cos the old ones were shagged.

the rear lift mounts are £110 but they come with a diff raising kit too as you need both. i'll probably go with that as although the rear camber looks awesome, its not helping traction.

Did you do the gearbox mounts at the same time as the diff bush?
The diff bush alone makes a big difference.

Seeing how simple the gearbox bushes are I need to get them done.

It's going to feel a different car when you get the beam bushes done.

Do after a few more days I've noticed that there is a little more vibration through the cabin from the mounts.

And I can hear my diff more due to poly mount

Ah, yes, that is expected with those mounts. Great for track, annoying till you get used to it for day to day driving.

Great write up>

Did you get new sill covers?

Very nice job, tastefully carried on with subtle upgrades that keep the OEM look.
I haven't quite understood what your plans are for the E36 M3 wheels, but I personally think the styling 18 are the sweetest design ever, especially on the 2.8.

Well done!

Getting them refurbished and then will run them for a little while

Agree that the 5 spokes are the best wheel for the z3

Also very interesting the mod kit with the seat raisers.
Would you reckon they can make enough room for an underseat amplified subwoofer? (Usually 70-80mm thick)

I'm not sure, but I'll measure the gap
