Still lots of little bits to be completed as well as the side exhausts fitting, but it really is coming together now.

Well its been a while since I posted because its finished and i've been enjoying driving it around in the sun!
Finally got the wheels on and pleased to say they look great.
Also got the quick lift brackets on which really completes the look I think.
Massive thanks to ClassicCoachworks for the build, i'm really happy with the result! If anyone wants to convert their Z3 I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Been out every weekend in it Loving life really but it becomes a bit tiring with everyone staring and waving

I presume this will be a response in DMs ? Hi ManHatton, please note when comparing costs that you will take into account the need for things like rewiring lights. Fitting brightwork etc which a body shop may not be core to their business but is for ClassicCoachWorks. When all that is done and final fix of the panels (which is a challenge) then body / take over.
I built my own and know this aspect cannot be underestimated. If you already know this and I have crossed my bounds I mean no offence. Welcome to the rebody club when you do go for it.

My final total for the complete car including donor was about 17k I believe but that included lots of extras such as a full underbody refresh (thx @Lee), expensive paint and alloys.
You can do it from anywhere from 12k to 20k, all depends on what you want
I'd definitly recomend classic coachworks, I paid them for the build part only and paint through their contact. I thought they did great work on mine. Ian did some cleven engineering on mine such as the side pipes and bonet mechanism. Its the little details they are good at.
