396hp at 5925rpm and 536nm at 3425rpm.

No more pops and bangs and its so fun to drive.
That is astonishing, you must be extremely happy with those figures. I bet it is a right handful!

I'm collecting parts for the next step.
I already have a six speed gearbox from an E46 M3. Now I have a twin disc clutch to go with it.

Currently I'm running a DKM clutch and the pedal effort is just more then I like for a daily driven car. Works well and holds the power but just heavy.

I am still away working and the car is at the tuners. Winter cold starts all adjusted so car does not run near as rich when the weather gets chilly.

He was also cleaning up the main tune and is going to lower the power back down a bit. The car made above 600Nm of torque on the last run and that's a bit much on the stock bottom end that only made 280 from the factory. Everything held together and the temperatures were just fine but its in the area of bending the stock rods.

So when's the engine coming out to get forged ;);););)

Stephen.
Someday! Have the six speed gearbox and boot floor to do later this year. Cant wait until the boot floor is done so I can stop looking and wondering when it will fail.

Love reading this build thread. Doing the 6 speed swap was my favrouite mod the MPG also shot up on the long journeys.

Tuners are done with the car. Had a problem with the boost controller so that's sorted and its running at a controllable power level.

525 HP at 5995 rpm and 527Nm at 3490 rpm.

Its already making the stock power level of roughly 200 HP at 3100 rpm.

Just need to arrange collection as I am still working away.

It's been a challenge and a huge learning experience. Turbos and items are second nature but on a bigger scale usually related to large ship engines. A couple stand alone ECU was a task that worked out.

It works and drives great. Still have a lot of small items I want to change but for now it's great.

Will have to wait for some summer warmth and try to get a video.

It is night and day compared to driving Ann-Maries.

I have been out a quick blast with Delk last summer when we were down at Caister and I can tell you his zed is blisteringly quick the acceleration is most impressive and the noise it makes ain't half bad either.

Been awhile but the car is making 425hp and running great until today.

Went to a local car meet today and and on the way home the clutch started to slip. Its an uprated DKM clutch but not good enough.

I have a 6 speed box and dual plate clutch to fit so I guess I will be doing that sooner then later.

Delk these are the joys of a modified car ironing out the teething problems.

Clutch cover is completely warped. The disc is concave and there is over 1mm clearance on the inside. Besides that it generally looks horrible.
I had an Mr2 Turbo that I modified and was running silly BHP and I got through about 5 clutches before I settled on one that did the job. Right PITA but once I had found the one it was great. I'll defo be looking out for you over the summer months as we tend to come Hemsby way for walks with the dog...that is if we can see you passing at warp speeds!
