Hi, The M54 DISA is bigger you can’t use the one on your existing M52 manifold. Mine came with the second hand M54 3.0 manifold from the breaker off a 130k mile X5. So I serviced it as a precaution.

Spent a couple of hours today, sorting out the rocking seats. Used the opportunity to give the carpet a clean as well.

If you buy the pipe from BMW you get a straight steel pipe that you have to shape yourself. I’ve done it but have the tools and done similar before. It’s much easier with copper-nickel than steel.
