Will certainly be easier for me if I can leave the wheels on 👍

Rebody lock options (not door handles as that is covered elsewhere).
My donor has central locking and a BMW alarm but it does not have remote cental locking, what are my options ?
For the boot I favour keeping the Z3 boot lock. But what about the doors, I can easily fit a 3rd party remote but is that the best option, I don't want to end up with lots of keys!

Speak to Russell (Argy on here) at Grassbank, he will point you in the right direction.

How about this as a different approach to the bumpers, not sure that I like it!

No from me too. Wouldn't look anything like that on the tribute 507 anyway. Tribute has a big valance under the bumper while the real 507 doesn't.

Looks like an explosion in a towel rail factory.
Sorry.

Has anyone tried using "Knifeless Tape" when joining vinyl wrap? Is it worth it?
I know several members have used "chrome" vinyl wrap are there any brands that stretch better than others or have a better chrome effect?

Looks like he fixed the light surround? What about the flat patch on the driver's side wing?

Not sure if he has corrected the flat spot, I guess he needs to leave me with something to do!

When I saw the pictures, I thought "blimey someone's been busy in just three days". =))
Don't think I'll be going for a speed build, too many skills to learn along the way. Will need to take lots of pictures when we remove it from his car.

You going to collect personally? It's quite a place to visit. Drove past today twice as live locally. 🤪

All, I am just starting on the door skins, do you have to remove all the rubber seal from the top of the door so that the new skin can slide in place or do you cut off the top section. Also I assume that a new rubber seal needs to be fitted to form a watertight seal with the glass. I couldn't see any specific pictures in the build threads, so any info would be useful.

Yes. You need to pull that rubber strip from the top of the door. The new door skin slides down into the gap where the rubber used to be.

I seem to remember a picture on @Dxbolton 's build thread. He's also stuck the rubber back on top of the new door skin. But watertight? The original door wasn't watertight anyway so don't try to make the new one watertight. Water will get down inside the door. You need to make sure your memrane behind the door card is good.
