Well they say bad things happen in 3's! No3 - the touchless carwash story!

Your car is looking great, hope the sensor works out for you :)

Don't forget the Aygo is also a Citroen C1 and a Peugeot 107 too. This devilish trio was spawned by the same laws whereby Mercedes brought out the awful Smart car that manufacturers were given some slack on producing big engine cars provided they also made these horrid little creatures.;)

Tony.

ps. Yes I know some of you love the Smart "car", but I bet you don't have to work on the bloody things.=))

I had a smart car a few years ago, the roadster :) did all my own maintenance on it as well, quirky fun to drive cars.

Thank you so much all! And a special thanks to @Brian H !! Who I do owe a pint or three to! ;) I'll let you know how I get on - im planning on getting it fitted and re-calibrated soon! :)

@Dino D yes it does seem to - I have wondered about that before! I can see how it would be handy, though I have to admit I don't think I'll ever be towing anything from Felix ;)
:) I bought him about 4 and a half years ago from gentleman down in Birmingham. Ive got one of the original advert photos saved somewhere, I'll try dig it out and see if it looks familiar to you! So it would have been about 2010 sometime - on piston heads! ☺️ Best little car I could have bought! He's got a full bmw-approved garage service history in his little shoebox from the day he was first let loose on the roads :) (though I couldn't afford to keep that up!! He goes to our fabulous local mechanic now) so pleased to have him back!!

That looks great Katie, bet you glad to have him back:)

He's got 14 years on that Aygo and yet he's infinitely more stylish and more enjoyable to drive! The z3 is undoubtably a true, classic and timeless car!! :)

Never appreciated him more than after spending 3 days in the Aygo! :)

Included a photo I took of the internal air vents in the Aygo... Looks like some futuristic prop from a 1970s space movie! Crazy ;)

Hahaha I can safely tell you that I am never buying one of those in a million years! ;)

I just remember the pic my uncle in California sent of a one foot long smart car sandwiched between two semi trucks. Not a pretty sight seeing it now as tall as it used to be long. JIM

You can not 'sandwich' a Smart car..........tridion safety cell.

Must still be bloody scary though Mike if you end up the meat in the sandwich in one. I have seen a few over in Florida and they appear even smaller over there.;)

Tony.

Good to hear about this happy ending but..... What a bunch of car snobs you are re the Aygo!!

I bought my daughter a bright red Citroen C1 VTR 5 door 2 years ago and I love driving it whenever I can. It's really stylish, the engine is like a mini version of the flat six in my 911, it revs happily goes well for a one litre does 50 mpg, is ideal for city driving and costs nothing to tax.. And she still loves it!

That said, the Aygo pictured here is the "new" shape version and I have to say it is a bit of an ugly beast compared to the old version!! As we all know, new isnt always better than old!

Pleased to see the Status Quo has been restored Katie, at least the cloud had a silver lining!!!

Felix looks really fabulous now! Just waiting to see him i the flesh, how about the Birthday bash in Buckinghamshire this Sunday?

Mike & Sandy

I have my formative exam (uh oh...) on the Monday morning through, so probably aight to stay home and do some last minute cramming this weekend! Do you know when and where the next big meet is likely to be? Can't wait to put some faces to names!
