I did a race prep'd Astra GTE round Donnington many years ago. Great fun. First part of the day was a few laps sat in a passenger seat with Kelvin Burt driving - massive fun and scary as hell at the same time.

Well the tution costing £250 with an ards level s instructor - which I was recommended to my 3 people.
As I don't seem to improve - need to keep up with you brian

Got some Fuchs titan race performance engine oil and filter in preparation on it's way from @oilman (Opie oils). Which they advised me to use as it will cope the demands of a track day and can be left in till the next service interval.

You'll have a blast, enjoy....
Had a thought last night after booking the track day,you have to wear a full face helmet,if it rains on the day I will have to have the roof up.
Will I fit in the car with a helmet on ? I asked myself. It was on my mind all night,so today I got my old lid out the loft and had a dry run..........
The crash helmet just catches on the rear roof spar unless I lean forward a bit,so not too bad if it rains.
But of course it will be dry and sunny and the roof will be down giving me plenty of room for my head
.
