Andy, the EAC have been on a Lakes trip the last two years running, both times we stayed at The Crooklands Hotel in Crooklands,near Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District National Park, they made us really welcome, were very reasonable, had loads of private parking and was near to the Motor Museum, we can't recommend this Hotel enough and will certainly stay there again.:cool:

Its OK @Jack Ratt is coming he will bring some of that famous Cornish sunshine with him. :thumbsup:

And orrs Dave, I canoed back from Derbyshire for a best part of the way. Had my arm bands and swimming cap on too :arghh:
