Spurs Fan in a Coupe - Progress

///M bumper lower grill fabricated and fitted, missing mounting point stolen from my 1.9 1997 boston green car for breaking, bloody thing didn't fit right, due to the slam panel being bent!

So back on with the old 2.8 bumper for now.

Until I can find a straight slam panel to try again.

Did look bloody good though!

Sorry for poor snaps!

I was in a foul mood having spent ages getting the lower mouth grill and air intake areas covered with the (sharp) mesh!

I'd love to get the ///M bumper on, but with time fast running out before the car really has to go it may never happen, shame as it will really 'finish' the car.
 
Well........

This bloody airbag light is turning out to be a right pain in the arse!

Fault codes wont clear, so the airbag sensor unit is being sent away for work.

I miss my car!

Oh and of course the part had to be in the middle of the centre console beneath the radio!











 
Would love to Spurs but unfortunately, I am suffering from eye problems at the moment,they will not even let me drive my own car.
If I can not get fixed up, I will probably be selling my car. I suppose it serves me right for many years of taking the money and the risks of working in certain countries. Hey ho, life's a, you know what. ....Hope you are well.

Well, it has been a while!

Car has a fresh 1 year MOT, I resisted the temptation to blow the air bag bulb or remove it, got the problem fixed in the end.

Emissions were a struggle, but a pass after a good run before the test.

Every time I drive her, I don't want to sell, but a late night dash to A&E last night and me without a car that could take my 1 week old has finally proved to me that it has to go.

So, last few finishing touches, and she will be for sale by the weekend's end!

Guess I'm lucky being able to have 2 kids and only a Z3 to carry them round in. Lord knows what would happen if they both called for Dads taxi at the same time ;)

If I had the spare cash or had an out for the Z3M then I would be coming to view.

Good luck with sale I am sure it will soon be gone.
 
Full service today, new oil, oil filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and wipers.

Also had one of the rear wheels re-balanced and a new valve fitted after it went down last night.

Took that opportunity to take all the wheels off and polish them up, good as new!







 
Well, after all that effort cleaning my beautiful white wheels, I must be the only person capable of finding wet tar this time of year!

Elbow Grease + Polish =



 
They look stunning now.

Love white wheels apart from as soon as they are cleaned they are dirty again.
