Still snowing at Lincoln about an inch only but looks like there is plenty left yet. When I came in last night there was a bit more but it was gone by first thing.

Yep @Shelly we are lucky to have this view, we live off the beaten track a little but it is beautiful.

We have about 1" on the ground in the Derwent Valley. Consett, about 2 miles away at the top of the hill made the BBC News with kids snowboarding and at Castleside about 5 miles west of us the A68 has been closed all day due to drifts. This is only unusual because its the end of January and normally we would have weather like this by December.

Yep @Shelly we are lucky to have this view, we live off the beaten track a little but it is beautiful.

Some cracking routes in and around there Brian , I've got the a map looked out and planning to do some trips from perth up by you onto Oban and mull and beyond , can't wait to get SEVE out to play !
