Seriously, I have used it before on drill pipe connections (threads) after the coolant from the CNC had leaked out of the pipe over night and caused heavy corrosion.

good results HT..........a couple of gallon of vinegar ......and some citric...........you would want to get pulled up with that in the car.......looks like a bomb plot )
another one worth looking into.... :-bd
but i wouldnt want to leave calipers in there for a week....if it got into the bore it could make it rough .......but normal parts would be ok
