You are welcome my friend, Interest of note, that M31 as imaged is heading toward us at about 110km per second, so in 2.5 billion years or so, we can have a really good look at it. Its quite a bit bigger than our one, and could make a bit of a mess.... Gravity sucks, even over immense distance..Makes you wonder eh? Although the Universe is under no obligation to make sense to us, yet we still try to understand.
What if our reason of existence is to just observe?
What if the meaning of life is to just live?
We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people.
So why do we consider our existence so valuable?
Because, of all creatures, we are the only ones who can look at the night sky and wonder what is out there.
And then go grab a beer and check that fine piece of a$$ that just walked in and fantasise we’d hit that so hard that if someone pulled us out they'd become the king of England.
Cheers mate. You made me think again….

There will be another good one out tonight...
Since you asked, . Whilst the images are about as good as you can get from a 16mp sensor that some cellphones beat. The big telescope bolted to the front of it makes it, No need to carry around 10kgs of lenses and other gear. Just a 1.5 kg does it all, and it does do everything very well, but nothing brilliantly. Not so long ago now when all the big manufacturers were making more and more impressive super zooms, Nikon stepped up with the P900, the one I regrettably gave my wife, with a 2000mm zoom, none of the other manufacturers came close, but in a final gesture of up your'smanship they bought out the P1000 with 3000mm zoom. I had been searching for one for a while as they are now discontinued. I'm happy to have found this one, It's a keeper for birding..Thats what you say to your wife.
you can be honest with me.
now, post some closeups of said birds...
I classify myself as an enthusiastic amateur, A good photo does not require bags of expensive kit, neither does a good photographer. As is evident by some of yours and others images taken with a phoneHm. I understand.
I just use an iPhone 15 with an app called Camera+ so not much of a high end photographer.
But it does fhe job. View attachment 313653
