Fantastic result for you..... now you can see so clearly too you've realised Silver is soooooooooo last year :D

Really pleased for you, big decision to make but it's worked out for you, do you have to have follow ups or is that it, job done?

Yeah I've had two follow ups so far and have one more in a couple of months and if happy they'll discharge me. I would say my vision is not as crisp as with glasses especially in dim lighting. But then i have nothing else to compare to as I've been wearing glasses for the last 16 years, I'm very happy though! Thanks for all the comments people.

dim lighting improves but is still a slight drawback after 3 year. it improves until the scar tissue gets as invisible as it can be. I cannot (and never have) seen the scar but my optician this time said that she had to up the magnification to 16X in order to be able to find the scars. which I think is pretty good. My deal included that if I even need a touch up it is free for the rest of my days but I have to have my eyes professionally checked on an annual basis, which I am happy to do.

results do vary but I have to say my eyesight is way better than I ever had with glasses.

Regards

Duncan

I had mine done in Canada and it was called Custom Lasik..... there that is where they open the flap and custom shape around 200 different point on the lens. my prescription was either + or - 3.5 with an astigmatism and +or - 2.5 and astigmatism which made contacts rubbish as my astigmatism was at 45 degrees and the toric lenses are either 0 or 90 or multiples and I was midway.

not sure what my full prescription was as I have got rid of it recently as no longer relevant. (optician would still have it of course. LOL)

I hope that helps.

By the way for me when night driving the stars on the headlights disappeared at about the 4 month period but a friend in France it took six months. :D
