I didn't smell a thing just the ozone or whatever it was from the Laser. I am three years in and turned down the choice to do away with Glasses and now use them for close work. I decided to have the better long vision. I used to wear my glass all the time but as I have aged and the eyes get "tired" my near sight was moving further away anyway.z3cade said:Ive heard you can smell your eye ball burning.. Thanks I had lasek wavefront it's not really bad but just not as good as daylight. I found when I wore contacts at night and they dried out my vision was worse then so overall better, although my vision is not as crisp as when I had glasses. There's so many factors and ifs and buts to take into consideration with laser surgery though which I must admit made me think if it would be worth it but I think it was and I'm happy.Boysie said:Hi Daz
Thats the downside of laser, bad night vision
Did you have Wavefront or Lasek
Wavefront is supposed to be better for night vision,
as it laser's precise area's of the eye, instead a flat burn
i find it very difficult in badly light rooms
I am really pleased for you
