Hope all went well today...
Hello guys! Well today has been long and tiring and slightly odd at one point. I was up at hospital in his room waiting, pacing and worrying like you do. I decided to pop down to the hospital shop for a newspaper to pass the time away. On my way back i bumped into a trolley being pushed by a couple of nurses with a man in a gown with a tube hanging out his nose. Once i registered the man had started waving i had a closer look (its rude to stare normally!) And it was dave all a bit doolally telling them that the gaffer was here - pointing at me lol. Anyway they whisked him off and i didnt see him again for another 3 hours. When they brought him back onto the ward he was a changed man - happy, feeling much better and giving the stern nurse some stick which he hadnt dared before!
I came home to find a parcel for dave - santa aka our lovely tony on here had organised a cheering up surprise for dave. I toddled back up to hospital after sorting the horses out and delivered tony n shirls parcel.

That parcel cheered him up so much more...he tried to post a thread himself but the signal kept dropping. dave sends many thanks tony n shirl...it was a very good idea thank you from me too.
and also a big big thank you to you all for keeping in touch with mr grumpy. Today has ended so well and i think, as miller said, we can move on again at last.
