Nothing changes Dave, on the food front, when our Carla was in Sheffield Children's Hospital 21 years ago the food was horrible ( not helped by most of them on chemo) so we smuggled in KFC and other just to get her to eat.
The Hospital eventually banned it, saying there was a food hygiene risk, but strangely didn't stop the Asian (Muslim) families bringing their own food in metal cans? Hope you soon feel better mate.

Doesn't the King & Miller behind MacD's do take out food? Got to be a better choice (but maybe not by much...).
You got some of my family history in that photo - My dad grew up just 200 yards up Mansfield Road, My uncle worked most of his working Life at Sheepbridge which is amongst those big buildings. I've walked around the reservoir many many times as a kid.
None of which brings you any consolation at all stuck in that place. I have to come up to Mansfield tomorrow - I could bring emergency rations.

Well just to cheer you up. We have just had a barbie with home made Chicken,tomatoes and mushroom Kebabs hot and spicy pork steaks barbecue chicken drumsticks and the rest of the normal bbq stuff. Hope you get well soon Dave so you can enjoy the same some day
