@zedwheels I have just booked the same crossings as you. Pity the group booking did not come off just too many loose ends and people wishing to return at different times. Now all that remains is to organise ... The New Forest Spring Drive... The ... oh god.. =)):woot:

Don't know what the rest of you have done but we always travel in the high vehicle carriage, not because we are high but because the slope to get on and off the train is sometimes a bit steep. Especially with lowered cars.......

Was that an option then when you booked? I Didn't notice.:(
Even though your booked to return a little later I believe that if you do drive back the same time they will put you on earlier anyway if you want.

If you're on the lower deck it is not such a problem, but it is if you're on the upper deck.

Correct Brian, there is a 2 hour window either side of your actual train to allow for 'travel delays'.
 
@Gwyndaf you need to book your own crossing and hotels but I will add you to the list. :thumbsup:

Booked premier inn at Ashford for me and the Martian. We have now had confirmation from Kims work. Just need to book the Tunnel. We will now not be joining for the Ypres as we are going to stay around the Grand Ballon area on the Monday and go over to Switzerland for Tuesday to Friday and return on the Tunnel on the Sunday. Found a nice Studio Apartment on the Furka at Bellwald for £189 for 3 nights
 
Sounds like am idea plan.. Would like the info on that one please for later in the year. :thumbsup:
