At the moment there is only me and Kim doing this unless the Martian gets permission from his better half :ymdevil:

Booked premier inn at Ashford for me and the Martian. We have now had confirmation from Kims work. Just need to book the Tunnel. We will now not be joining for the Ypres as we are going to stay around the Grand Ballon area on the Monday and go over to Switzerland for Tuesday to Friday and return on the Tunnel on the Sunday. Found a nice Studio Apartment on the Furka at Bellwald for £189 for 3 nights

Stop doin this Bill, your tempting me , you know I luv the furka,
M

Planning on day trips. Going up the Furka across the Nuffenen up the Passo del San Gottardo and on to Andermatt on the Wednesday and back to the Studio via the Sustenpasse. Then a Trip up the Furka and across to Grindalwald on the thursday. Then start heading home on the Friday

No not till you come along =)):beer:beer My round at the Hotel

Haha. You bad boy @billz I need to go over the Swiss passes to visit friends in Italy so it will be fun all round.

@hard top and @DutchScorpion : when starts the school holidays in Netherlands and when do you recommend visiting a little bit Amsterdam, surroundings,...before the Dutch cruise or after?
And the next question : where would you go to see the best of Netherlands in 4-5 days?
Should we open another topic or it's ok here?

I think you should follow us home to Wales

@miller1098 It should be subject to a separate project, except the last minute lottery win, before leaving Slenaken!

Or tag on behind us and head over to The Passes around Oberwald :racecar::racecar:
This is faisable , as it's still on the return road...almost!

OK on this thread I would have thought, as it is on topic with the Euro cruse, as most of it will be in the Netherlands.

Amsterdam, surroundings,...before the Dutch cruise or after?

If you go to Amsterdam and like museums, I would say the Rijksmuseum is worth a visit and getting a candle lit dinner canal boat trip is a nice way to see the city (and before any one comments, yes, I do have my romantic moments)
Or, if you are after a quick divorce, visit the Red Light District....:D

And the next question : where would you go to see the best of Netherlands in 4-5 days?

To be honest, you will be seeing the 'best of the Netherlands' while on the Dutch cruise.
I live just north of Amsterdam in the real 'flat lands' and, unless you like motorways, as boring as hell.
Was on a road trip last Wednesday to Germany to collect a truck load of wine with my buddy, the only thing that kept me sane was a German bratwurst and a six pack of Becks on the way home (passenger seat)

Any more questions, ask away, I am happy to answer.....

@Zeti @hard top Your posts are all relevant as people will use this thread to also hopefully plan there own trips to see Euro Zeds in the future.. Such as where did they stay again.. etc etc..

Is the Alpenhoff the nice hotel we found when we were with you couple of years back billz?
Brian its the one where they did the thai food. The first. Hotel we stayed at after mulhouse

Ah I know now, thought it was the big one where you and I had a balcony and Mozza had a pout on!!
The one we left early, the bankrupt camp.=))

Me and Mozz spent 3 nights this year at that one. It was called la Brace and i didnt get the biggest balcony this time :(

After all these snaking roads on the mountain passes and the (few) evening beers, balconies are dangerous...so it's better to have a room with just a simple window! And a view!
