If something is meant to be it would work out mate. Yes it's a very nice car, but, it isn't standard any more and I think that is where the values will rise in future. IMHO

Very true Tony and I love the zed I already own and it's paid for :).
It's just human nature to want things we can't have.....so thank goodness for people that make me see sense like Sara and your good self ;)

Stacey, I totally agree with that statement seeing what happened to our family, but you still have to live, and when you have kids, especially grown up kids, who want their own cars etc, it's not so easy.;)

Haha I love your outlook on life Stacey :(.
At your age I would have thrown caution to the wind and gone for it....rightly or wrongly.
But with an uncertain work/income security looming it's a no no I'm afraid....any way I've got my name down for a sit in your M next time i see you, just don't leave the key in the ignition :ymdevil:=)).

Oh...interesting...any thing you would like to tell us .
TBH Steve I am tempted, but it is still a 17 year old modded car with 80k + miles for 11k. At that mileage I would be scared to put much more on it, then it would be sat in the garage not being used. I can't afford to run two Zeds and the Landy.......mmmm or could I.

Spot on there Tony. It could be returned to standard spec, but that would cost money which would probably offset the gains.

If I was in a position to buy it Bryan it wouldn't be as an investment as I would be piling on the mileage and enjoying it as intended, not letting it sit unused in a garage hoping it might go up in value in the future. May be if you bought one with half that mileage and then never drove it would appreciate in value....but then you would have to pay a high premium to start with.

You can ask anyone who has modified any car if, when they sold it, whether they lost money on it. I guarantee that would be 100% yes. And that will include me when I sell my Z3 too. Just a fact of life mate.

Most of us on here, certain persons apart, want to drive our cars every day where possible. Having sold my winter car and got my Z4 that is my every day car, and I love driving it, I can't wait for light nights and sunny days. Won't be long peeps.;)
