The more I look at this kit the more I am swayed to doing one, being a panel beater and painter would make it very easy, however I couldn't bring myself to use my Z as its now got some sort of personal attachment, I could buy one just for the conversion, but as @littlefeller says, all the small stuff would bother me, I would without doubt fit the badges, very interesting thread by the way and I am looking forward to your updates.

Must admit, I am wandering around tidying up in the garage and at a bit of a loose end....plus the missus is now collaring me for all the jobs I have put off around the house :(

Seeing as this thread is about stripped down Z's and my car is now closely related to @Sir Percival 's car in that it's wearing some of his removed panels, I thought I'd post a more flattering pic of a Z stripped down:

I think they look great without a 'hood' and that engine on show. Anybody know of a Perspex replacement?

i know the feeling,mine was supposed to be painted monday afternoon,but it got pushed back due to a urgent job landing monday morning! i havnt told the wife as she will have me decorating at the weekend.:whistle:caliman
