Dashboard now mounted permanently (I hope), here is a picture of the tacho and speedo in their final resting places;

I’m looking forward to seeing the project finished..
All switches fitted and working, new column stalks fitted, new steering column cowling fitted, all working, new handbrake chrome cover fitted.....major parts of new interior trim loosely assembled
to test fit. Starting to look good;

Oh yes, the new ones are keeping warm in the spare bedroom at the moment, same colour as centre console. They fit on to the original seat chassis, so electric movement is maintained, and they have adjustable backs.

Carpets in, centre consoles fitted permanently, rear bulkhead fitted, interior A post trims painted and re-fitted, old seats removed and passenger seat fitted to original seat chassis.
ABS and ASC lights fitted on passenger side but visible from drivers seat (ABS light is a requirement for the MOT, as the donor had ABS)
12 volt power plug fitted (for Sat Nav)
All speakers replaced, front speaker kick plates painted and re-fitted, rear speakers fitted into rear bulkhead along with radio body and powered amplified aerial,
Front passenger seat fitted along with seat belt and polished belt guide.
