Yes, I have just seen the pictures. I think they explain it all!
What I do not understand is, they, Nissan, say it is a design fault and there is no problem if the vehicle is maintained and serviced. But, if the metal used is poor quality in the first place, no amount of maintenance and servicing is going to stop it rusting like that. Unless of course, it is sprayed very regularly. And how many folk are going to do that? Similar vehicles do not have the same problem, surely. Yes, metal will of course rust overtime, but these are the worse cases I have ever seen. Even some of the agriculture machines from the fifties I have worked on, that have been outside in all weathers, are nowhere near as bad.
Then they have the nerve to say it's a design fault! The only design fault is in using low grade materials.
Basically they have put peoples lives at risk and do not want to know!

. It's just my opinion, of course. But it does make me angry to see something preventable like this happening.
My sincere best wishes go to Frankie and I hope he will be able to get some sort of justice.
