Well Euro car parts had extra discount yesterday so I bought a passenger side wing. £39 delivered. The one for the other side cost £265 from BMW but the insurance was paying for that.

The heater is fine in the z3 so I cancelled my appointment... Relief.

I don't disagree Jim, but it's going to great weather here this week;)

Need to build a shed for the hardtop, no room for the hardtop in the garage this year.

Have to agree with Jim they look better with the hardtop.

Just ordered a set of Alpine Speakers for the front after blowing the passenger side tweeter on Friday.

Got the new panel fitted today, both Angus (who sprayed and fitted it) and myself thought it was a really good fit and Angus only charged £30 to spray and fit the panel. Also got the hardtop off. Enjoying the rays till the rain tomorrow.

Since removing the hardtop I was thinking about replacing the rear screen as it was bubbling and discoloured. Then on a TV program a guy repaired bubbling by using a heat gun on a 3 series. Had a go at that and the screen went back into shape.

My uncle, who has had 3 mx5s said about polishing the rear screen to take the discoloured look of it, so I had a go with ScratchX and it came up a treat, just a fold line in the screen which I can live with.

That's how mine is, clear as a bell but has the crease line. But then it's 15 years old now.:)

I tried to get the fold line out with plastiX and ended up cracking. Can't fit just a screen due to the wear on my soft top. The cheapest quote from BMW was £1750 and that's with discount.

Phil T found a place on ebay which supplies and fits a red hood for £650 in the north west of England, might be worth a trip. BMW only makes black now.

The zeds where in formation this morning. There was a e86 z4 in front of me and a new z4 behind me on a dual carriageway.

Picked this bargain up at a Fathers day car show. Want a real one in this colour.

Would it be strange having a 3.0 litre as an everyday car and a M as a 2nd car?

Took this photo last night with a Golden sunset reflecting on the zed.

Not much happening since the MOT. Had an inspection 1 last week by a specialist, £95 compared to £235 at the dealership. Trying to get the funds together to get new alloys for a BMW show in Northern Ireland next weekend. Apart from that all quiet.
