I started work on this old girl today, its having 2 sides painted and a few bits and Bob's, my first job was to address the paintwork on the panels that are not getting painted, the panels are in good condition but the finish was pretty poor so they needed a good detailing

Both doors have had some dreadful body work and need some serious work

Great job on the headlight, the Porsche in the background... I think the colour match is slightly off!

Lots more done today, new sill arrived so under sealed the inside, also did some work on the insides of the front wings, initially they looked very good however the seam sealer was hiding some nasty stuff, rust was stripped, steel was acid etched, sealer renewed and a final coat of underseal, should last for years now,

The problem with working on a Z3 all day is that I by the end of the day I have had my Z3 fix and can't be arsed to work on my current 2.8 project, only managed 45 mins after work tonight before I called it a day

45 mins is better than 0 mins. And in the words of that well known supermarket: every little helps!

Or to coin another phrase.

“Never knowingly undersealed’

Although that’s completely wrong in this context.

Better to take a break than work on tired, that's when mistakes are made and projects can grind to a halt.

Even God took Sunday off Sean ;)

Tony.

Got both doors flatted and almost ready to paint, also got the stone guard on the new sill,
