    Electric fan

Not sure Steve to be honest. A thread I saw said that maybe the thermostat was previously stuck open and since I’d just had a coolant change it sounded plausible (that the fan thing started and was now normal). I’m not convinced though. By the sounds of your reply, your car doesn’t do it? Cheers

At last! ECP have come up with something I might buy!

I can't remember what I paid for mine, but as with everything I guess you get what you pay for. Mine came in handy recently when looking for wiring connectors hidden behind the console. Good bits of kit generally I'd say.

    Electric fan

Hi all, Since my last service, I've noticed that my electric fan "pulses" on and off in a few second intervals when the air con is switched on.. I read somewhere that it's normal - but it never happened before the last service (which included a coolant change) and doesn't make sense to me. Is...

Help please- what are these fella's?

I've owned Triumphs before (Spitfire, TR6 and Stag) and I'm pretty sure my 1972 TR6 had alsorts fitted - mind blowingly it had a mixture of imperial and metric fixings - great fun.

Help please- what are these fella's?

Hi Mazza, thanks for your reply. Actually, my whole issue relating to the seat swap is that although my car looks like a facelift, but the seat wiring loom at least is definitely pre-facelift. So there was I trying to find bright yellow heated seat swiches in every nook and cranny possible - and...

Help please- what are these fella's?

Thank you for all the replies - while I couldn't sleep last night, I thought that there was a possibility that the M spec cars may have had the same loom as the standard cars. I know there are some extra dials and features on those and therefore some connectors would be redundant on mine. I...

also, (sorry to correct you Jack) I have already found and connected the heated seat switches / connectors, these other 5 connectors appeared from nowhere in particular when I was messing about behind the console.

Can you see them now? Maybe I'll try them as thumbnails instead (Bloody Newbie - sorry!). Jack - thanks. There are actually five unidentified connectors - there are two small black ones in addition to the larger black one and two white ones.

Help please- what are these fella's?

Hi, As promised, here is my first technical post. Let's see what damage I've done :( As part of my heated seat swap (a bit of a disaster because my Facelfit car has pre-facelfit seat wiring loom - I'll post a new story on that when I've solved it), I had to find the heated seat dash switch...

no, not sport seats - they are identical to look at as the ones I took out. I'd say they are much lower mileage though. They aren't in yet however - I don't get the adapters until tomorrow. I'm trying to load a new conversation, open to the Forum, but it seems I have to invite up to 15 members...

Hi Jack, it's a facelift, but the wiring loom for the seats is pre-facelift - so my new heated seats (facelift) don't connect without butchering the wiring :banghead: .I read dozens of posts on this issue, all helpful. I am fairly handy with wiring diagrams, soldering etc, but I've bitten the...
