I knew British Leyland used up the parts bins, didn't think our German friends did the same.

The whole damn car came out of several parts bins, bits of e30, e36, and e46 cobbled together. Had to change one of my inlet hoses a few years back, and that came off a 5 series. Pretty amazing that it all works so well.

I've owned Triumphs before (Spitfire, TR6 and Stag) and I'm pretty sure my 1972 TR6 had alsorts fitted - mind blowingly it had a mixture of imperial and metric fixings - great fun.

Forgot the Dolomites, including x2 Sprints (one a rare auto).
