Funnily enough, just ordered some 5mm foam scrim to lay over the top of the "lumpy stuff" which is carpet underlay I had lying about. It is great for building up the bulk but needs the scrim over the top to smooth it out. Instruments still light up OK, weird! Have fun with yours, I hope they...
