Too early in the year for me, but will definitely be over for a coffee and a chat in the spring.

Probably get a visit by Jordan from Cardiff with his Z4, he needs a steering angle sensor reset so will have the laptop with me.

So Saturday, we had a visit from @TaffDaddy, nice to see you David, its been a while. Also had Jons @Iamjonw 2.8 in to replace the crank sensor. Unfortunately BMW gave Jon the wrong one first time round, not his fault or theirs TBF, his VIN said it was a rear mounted sensor when in fact it was the older front mounted type.

So correct parts collected and onward. WHAT a total PITA it was too, the way BMW routed the cable for the sensor was beyond believe and access is impossible for a sausage fingered hammer swinger like me! Luckily my lad Martyn @notzed called by and saved the day with his long piano playing fingers and was able to get into the tight bits but, not without some strong language and promises of retribution to whoever designed the engine

One good thing is now I know what's involved any more to do will be a lot easier.

Every cloud eh.

Great bit of kit, Niall. I use it in addition to INPA and BMW scanner on the Laptop

Yeh good bit of kit, @colb brought his to the shed a while ago and I was well impressed, I needed something that would be suitable for the Z3s, Carly is not really suitable for them.

Check what version the Creator is loaded with, mine came with Ver 11.9 and there was an updated download for Version 12.1 which I downloaded using the software that came with the package. Version 12.1 added a Battery Registration Icon and function to the main menu.
The Transport Mode function is still not functional even though is in the menu, suspect a later update will make it functional in the future. I did email them asking when this might happen but never had a reply from China.
