Perhaps a compromise might be the solution . . . ask Pickerings for a quote to re-vamp, re-dye and replace window and get it professionally done - especially as you have a recommendation for them from Snoops.

Why is everything sooo expensive here "down South" :(( the money you've all mentioned for jobs is peanuts . .

Hello Jewell,

I used the reveno again (2 coats of blue) on the softtop.

It has come out ok, but there are a few shiney patches on parts of the roof.

I think they are wear marks to part of the mohair (probably down to age)

The roof seems to be original (12 years old now)

I think the mohair hardens over time.

Im replacing the rear window over the bank holiday (dad had offered to help!)

I wil see what it looks like when the window is replaced. If not i might have a new hood installed.
