So a little update. The sale of the Tuscan fell through. I tried to find another one and missed out on two more. These TVR's sell very quickly.

I have since found one of the most reputable TVR company's 15 minutes down the road, so last weekend I spent a few hours testing and sitting in lots of TVR's and getting all the inside info.

It's safe to say once I herd the V8 that was it! So I have found a 4.5 AJP V8 Cerbera and placed a deposit!!

Congrats Lee!
You know my feelings on these cars, just awesome for someone who knows the way around cars.
One of the best of the range too - practical and mental all at the same time!
Oh and a V8...

I hope you enjoy the car when you get it Lee, but I have to say I get to test 2 S1's (one yesterday) and a Cerbera at work and I do love the sound they make but the build and ease of repairing leave at whole lot to be desired and if you can believe all you read, hear and see on TV (Top Gear) they do need a lot of TLC. The Cerbera's owner recently had his engine replaced as a matter of course, apparently it is usual at a certain interval?

Just like a BMW M product then but much, much more of an occasion!

I've been on runs with TVR's in and amongst proper supercars and can tell you the looks, sound and performance means it holds it's own around even the proper supercars which cost way more to buy and run.

No arguing it needs TLC but IMO no car with the appeal like this comes without TLC requirements. Ideal for someone who knows their way around cars and has the tools but maybe not if you have to 'pay a man' to maintain properly maintain (unless you have the budget).

Will it fit in the 'shed' Lee? They are waaay longer than a Z...keep that in mind when thinking of a 'dab of oppo', you'll needs a couple of lanes!

@David yeah i have put that plate on the audi :) and left L33 SXE on retension for the time being.

Spot on, This one has had a new engine fitted (You know me not any engine normal engine). They need a lot of fettling and a lot of caring for. The build quality is nowhere near that of a Bmw but then again the TVR styling is immense and that's what draws me to them. The community is very close knit just like the zed guys. They just ooze character :)

As you have said Lee, they sell very quickly and that speaks volumes for them. A very sought after motor, says it all really.!

I will indeed @t-tony. I believe there is a meet later this month. I'm still staying a part of the community so I'm planning to come along to most meets.

Very nice @Lee! Personally not my style, to modernistic but I'd sure like to try one out! I think being in NA and having grown up through the pre and muscle car era has tainted me to V8 power as I got older and it's not such an attraction anymore but can certainly see you and Shortie cruising in that baby. Nice choice!! Enjoy, JIM

I'll need to get that exhaust cutout valve so I can hear mine over yours!
I've been tunneling with a few and had to look at my rev counter as I couldn't hear my engine even with a cat back system over the roar these make!
Looking forward to seeing it on the 20 if you get it by then?

I've followed @Lee before and messed up my gear changes because I was too busy listening to his engine and ended up changing when he did.
