Yorkshire meet 06/12/15

Hi all for anyone that's intrested in a little ride out/meet up on 6th December.

Was thinking about meeting up around 0900 at Squires cafe, Newthorpe (N Yorks), Gorse Lane, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS25 5LX
Grab a breakfast then head on towards Pickering then the coast (Whitby) over the north Yorkshire moors for fish and chips.

After head on down towards Scarborough and Bridlington and make our way back towards home.

If anyone has any ideas or wants to do something different let me know as I'm new on here and don't know anyone yet.

So meet at 0900 and depart squires at 1000.


Also who wants fish and chips around 1330?
Limited to 20 for booking if you want to sit inside.

We went to York in our Zed and toured most of the places you guys here have mentioned. We stopped at Goathlands for a pitstop and there was a classic car meet at the station. We've got a picture of our Zed outside Scripps garage. Will have to see if I can dig it out.

We've visited Whitby a few times in our Zed. Also visited Pately Bridge which is where our sons girlfriend comes from. It's a lovely little place
 
I would really like to do this one,the area and the route look great :thumbsup:
Can i let you know nearer the time,a bit of an awkward time with Christmas looming with 2 teenagers and a 20 year old kindly producing there lists of presies for me to pluck out of the air :eek:.
 
Looks like a good route,I like to go to Whitby for fish & chips and a pint of Sam Smith(must not be confused with John Smiths,which is presumably pumped from the Ouse?).Pity it's not in the summer as I don't take the Zed out on salty roads,but hope you all have a great day.
 
Can you put pooley and his Z4 down for this, He's having trouble logging on
 
I'm gonna rest my Z for the winter. Hopefully should be able to do a bit of work when it's off the road.
 
OK we have checked wifes Rota and she is off:thumbsup: so Guest House Booked in Pollington for Saturday Night 30 minutes from meeting point. Gonna make a weekend of it. Looking forward to this was hoping someone would do a Whitby run for Fish and Chips, last time we done this we could not find anywhere in a café/restaurant had to have them stood outside. http://www.hadleysfishandchips.co.uk/bookings will take bookings but you will have to limit the numbers!

Please add me & Julie to the list, I used to go to Squires on Wednesday nights when I had a bike, YZF R6 Yamaha,should bring back a few memories.looking forward to meeting up. Cheers Phil

Sorry I've not really had the time to follow this as I'm in Berlin.
Home Friday so I will get a list sorted out of who is joining us then.

Can any one recommend a b and b or hotel in the area for this run out please ?
Might make a weekend of it traveling up on the Friday and stay near the coast,then stay over nearer the start point on Saturday night ready for Sunday morning,dependent on cost.
Any suggestions welcome :)
