Took a leisurely drive out this afternoon and having driven past Clumber park many times thought i'd drive in .
Lovely place free to drive through and loads of open space and tree lined roads took a few pics...

Sorry mate, I titled mine almost the same as yours! Hadn't realised! Looks like you've had a nice run out round my neck of the woods. We love Clumber, the road through is great. Brilliant shots too. POTM there me thinks!

Lime tree avenue is free Paul where Ant was. It's only when you go into the facilities area you pay. I prefer it on Lime tree anyway. Just make sure you don't park to close to over zealous children playing ball games!:mad::mad:

Have driven past it entrances 3-4 times now and is as you say free to drive through but if you go into the visitors centre it costs £7 it has allsorts in there church / house, walled gardens etc.
Do you pay to camp on the out fields? there where tents everywhere it looked as if you could pitch where ever you liked as long as you could get to it!

No mate. You can only pitch for the day tho. No night camping. Loads if people flock there in good weather in tents, even motor homes and cavavans set up there for the day, they play ball games and have bbq's.

Thats pretty much what you could see so many people enjoying the sun , nice to see :)

Your fav pic is a candidate for pic of the month!
You can feel the summer looking at the picture!

Me and my mate went to Clumber to watch the RAC rally a couple of years after we got married, so about 34 years for me.

Tony.

I remember passing it many times in my younger years but until today had not enter the gates. Nice place to park up and go for a wander...
