Hi Dave
Never come across S/S cable ties, where did you get them from ?
Geoff, plenty on eBay just search steel cable ties or I'm sure they can be picked up from the likes of screwfix or wickes.

I wouldn't use s/s ties. When I was at Lee's last week they were fitting Gaz's and using velcro ties in black. Looked really good

Hi I will wait and see what I think when mine arrives, the only problem that I can think of with ties is the problem when you want to remove shield for when top is up maybe ?

We used cable ties first of all but they look a little messy and can be sharp if you cut the ends off to tidy them up. The black velcro is neat and easy to remove if you need to. They come with the deflector too so its a whole package. See what you think @Geoff Crispin :)

I keep mine taxed all the time so that I can use it if I want as a second car. Only take my TR4 out in the good weather

Hi Shortie gal
Lee has not given me the right tracking number it should be a 16 digit one not an 8.
Only been part of this forum since last August and had not put you with Lee so it would be good if you could let me have the 16 digit one as they say it can take upto 5 working days to get to me and I do need to got out some time.

Thanks

Geoff

Have not been able to put it on yet as passenger seat is to far back and need to get it out of the garage which today involves moving other cars. Will fit it tomorrow as I have a firm coming to give an estimate for two roller garage doors.
