Summer jobs in SA ??? First off you should settle on Cape Town as your destination. Somewhat cooler weather then Johannesburg - generally.
Next - what to do.... Join the"Uber" ranks and get a good GARMIN to help you get around... You won't get rich, but it'll keep you in digs and put a few crumbs on the table through the summer... and good whisky or brandy is only around $15 / bottle...

If we go to Cape Town Barry how can we drink that stockpile of Glenfedich you have?? I was thinking @Zeti and I could just hang out on your patio and work on some of your projects and use the Workmate, mate!! I don't think we really want to work!! JIM

Ah well....that's a fair proposition Jim. I'm not sure we'd get a whole lot done though, except to deplete the whisky stash...

I'm sure that it could be replenished quite easily @Southernboy!! And I also drink Guinness and I'm sure @Zeti will also have a favourite of his own. It would be interesting to get three great minds working together and I've never tried South African beer!! See the theme starting?? JIM
