Haha, no, my idiot mate reversed his van into it.
They took it right back on the bonnet to get rid of some deep stone chips. They do look quite sorry for themselves when they are stripped down. Worth it tho for me, when I bought the car, mechanically it was spot on with excellent history but it had several war wounds. I don't mind seeing war wounds that haven't been messed about with, it means the car is honest and no one has tried to hide anything. That's what appealed to me when we viewed it so we bought it after knocking the owner back on price to allow something towards having him painted.@Grumpy what happened mate? The mid pics look brutal

I'm changing my Saab next summer and going for a cheap runabout for work, keep looking on autotrader at Mercs. You can get such a lot of car for next to nothing over here so pretty certain that's the way to go. @jue1 will get the main newer car which will be 4x4 for the dogs and horses. Wouldn't mind what Merc is really within reason! I.E no A class cos there just pants!

Oh, and by the by, don't go for an early C-Class diesel as they have the same lump as the 190D had, but they are a heavier car.
Performance is crap, I used to have to pull in behind trucks at traffic lights so as not to p*** off people behind me when the lights went green.
