Having read on a post about alloy wheel bolts that you could get plastic caps for them I purchased a set of eBay for just under £6.00. I think I like them. Plastic feels a bit cheap but they look OK. They come with a tool to remove them if necessary. Also four caps that will fit locking wheel nuts. Covers the bit of rust on my bolts nicely.

Yes its a very simple solution and cheap to smarten up those bolts. Always use them on the Z3 and Z4. My z4 ones need replacing, starting to flake the chrome off after 3 years.

The Americans have the best idea on wheel nut covers, my Pontiacs from the 80’s have a little threaded section the nut cover screws onto. Keeps them secure and removal a breeze.

Plastic caps for me too. Had them on 2 cars now, never lost one, or needed to replace.
