Approximately, depending on tyre inflation and tyre wear, your 17" wheels will give you a 3mm lower clearance if my maths is anything near close. 264mm floor to axle centre for 18" wheels and 261mm for 17" wheels

Having used the calculator Bryan @Eddie Zedder kindly sent me a link to, when I refit the wheels I will lose 1mm at the front and 6mm (1/4") at the rear. I think I'll be able to live with that until the refurbed 108's and new tyres go on.

Tonight I fitted my original wheels for the winter as I need to get my 108's split and refurbished one way or another ready for new tyres next year!
These centre caps were new when I fitted the 108's
The first two still look like new but the other pair look rather 2nd hand to me. Makes me wonder if someone in at work needed a couple of nicer ones?
Oh, I had also forgotten what a horrid ride run flats give you.
