Thanks to @Mac Romans recommendation in @Gail's thread recently I decided to pay a visit to The Wheel Specialists at Nottingham today to have a look at the different finishes/colours they do.
The chap we spoke to was really helpful so after listening to his advice we (Sara) decided on this colour :)

It has a sparkly fleck in it that shows up in sunlight, can't notice it in this pic though.
Taking the wheels in tomorrow and they should be ready mid week :D
It's a powder coat so should stand the test of time.....£75 per wheel inc tyre removal and refitting.....plus £10 for shiny stainless steel valve stems (per wheel).
I'm looking forward to seeing them on the car when they're done.....feeling quite excited, been waiting ages to get them done and every time I saved enough cash something would crop up as usual,so I thought sod it I'm jumping in now :ymdevil:.

Looks good.....looking forward to seeing them on your Z. I still haven't decided what to do yet.

Thanks Gail.
It may be worth you looking at the same firm as they are a national company so should have a branch near you.

Love the colour @Bozzy :p
I'm sure they will look great on your Z ;)

Can't wait to see them it's all very exciting shinny wheels :p

Nice one @Bozzy. It'll make such a difference to the overall look of your car. No more kerbing!!
I had mine done at the same time as the car was painted.
I know what your saying about saving and then watching your hard earned dissappear on the boiler repair or a new dishwasher! Drives me mad as well!

Plenty of time to save again.....just praying nothing crops up unexpected between now and then .

Steve.

Nice one Steve, can't wait to see them on, nothing more pleasing than a set of freshly painted wheels on a motor.

Roy.
Cheers Roy
I've got plans for a steering wheel upgrade at some point......got to blame someone for that....who could that be ?

Bloody hell mate, life can be crap at times. We've had similar recently. Working all hours to pull the savings back in. Had plans to go to Zed shed midlands and @t-tony was going to change the brakes and suspension for me while I tried to help where possible but had to cancel as financial things got in the way.

What - You're buying Jess a new boiler! She will be pleased =))

May be she would like a custom steering wheel......for my zed

Steve
And, as a special treat, she could have the old steering wheel. Can't say thats not fair can you =))

If we waited for all of life's twists and turns to be over we'd be waiting for a heck of a long time!! I'm sure she'll love the new wheel when she sees how happy you are!! lol JIM

I love it when someone else thinks like me.....=)).

Steve
I don't think that's a recommendation for either of us =))
