There is nothing to stop you adding an extension to the top of the lifting "plate" though Ian if you want to lift on the rubber lift pads on the sills.

I've seen a couple of nice things from cjauto's.
Haven't come round to bite the bullet.
I would like to see/have these:

But I would like to see them with a little more lift....60cm instead of 40?

Fitting them with rubber pads would make it also possible to put them under the sills and lift the car up as such (for replacing tires or brakes).
