Completely agree with Jim. Hopefully this is a car site.
Terrisisom effects us all (especially us here in France), my throughts go out to all the Canadian families involved in this tragedy.
On a much lighter note, now on holiday run down, 2 weeks on Jamaica this weekend.✈

So an update a few months after we had a replacement EGR valve, today the emissions light came on again, read the codes, EGR is to blame again!!!

I seriously don't like the sound of that Brian. We've held off doing anything with our Eos up to now, I'm thinking it might be a good time to change it.:(

If your happy with your car as it is Tony, don't upgrade, it's not compulsory....would I do mine again? Nope.

Yes it will be, it's more the hassle as the dealer is an hour away, they need to see the car to diagnose, then we need to arrange to take the car in for the work, the EGR valveless is an 8hr fix so they need it for 2 days. Etc.

I had to change the EGR cooler on a Caddy van last year and it took me all day. I don't want to ever do another.

My little fleet of cars are all petrol now, won't be going diesel again.

Had so many EGR valves fail on transporter vans, they've had to bolt on so much of this "tech" to get the emissions down.

I've never had a EGR complete failure on a petrol car, only had to clean them at higher mileage.
