@GazHyde Do you want me to bring that extendable pole again?
Hi, forgot about that flag Stacey had bought. That won't be there this time as we have proper sail flags now, so will be using those. Also have a pop up banner which we can use. Thanks for the offer :)

My s***'s custom!
Right my Zedigree Chums! Last year I earned my "supporter" ribbon with a small financial contribution to the forum. This year I decided to make my contribution a little more tangible so....

For VanityBMW 2017 I've supplied some small trophies (incredibly expensive and cast from nothing but the finest genuine plastic ) to be won in a little fun competition on our stand. "How do I enter?" I here you ask. The answer is simple....just turn up! Every car on the stand is in the competition.

There will be prizes for "Best on show" (1st, 2nd and 3rd) as well as "Best OEM car", "Best modified car", "Best wheels" and "Best interior".

This will be the fairest competition of the day because of who the judges are....it's all of us! Everyone who has a ticket gets one of my specially prepared 'pole cards.' You then vote for the car you think deserves to win each category by writing the reg number on your pole card before submitting it for counting. You can vote for the same car for multiple categories if you want but the only thing you can't do is vote for the car you arrived in!

The marking criteria is simple too as that's entirely up to you. You can make your choice based on anything you want from how shiny it is to just plain liking it because you just do. It's your vote so throw it at the car you think deserves that category. This way no one has the horrible task of single handedly picking winners and having to justify their decision. Also it means every car on the stand is in with a chance and no one is left out of the fun!

Im giving you a heads up now as otherwise I'd have an unfair advantage when preparing my car. So there we are. An even playing field.

Good luck!

Thank you Mac for both coming up with the idea, and also sorting out the trophies. It's a great idea and should be a good bit of fun for everyone on the stand.

Good luck everyone!

Yeah I like that idea Mac well done; after all the best people to judge them are the ones that run them and love them right...!

Thanks Gaz,

The tickets arrived today.

I brought the event shelter/gazibo thing last year, did you want me to bring it along this year?
Yes please, think we will likely have a second as well. If the weather carries on like it is we will need plenty of shade :)
