You're more than welcome Carl, especially as your zed is the best shade of blue ;).

Steve.
Not sure about that.. it's good but not as unique as Aegean Blue=))

Tempted, really tempted.:ymdevil:=))=))

Tony.

  1. Just gauging interest in organising the above.
Most likely some time in August or September this year.

The meeting point would be Donington park circuit, leaving at 10a.m for the first leg of 3.
Part one : Donington to Belvoir castle, approx one hour. 31 miles.
part two : Belvoir to East Langton (near Mkt Harborough). This stop will be at a garden centre with plenty of parking, w.c and a cafe.
Approx. one hour. 40 miles.
Part three : East Langton to Rutland water, Whitwell visitor centre. Again plenty of parking, but not free,w.c and cafe.
Approx. one hour. 26 miles.
With stops etc I reckon to allow around five to six hours in total.

The route has a good mix of country roads, some faster flowing roads and some lovely rural villages with buildings built with what looks like Cotswold stone.

Ok, no worries. Thanks for letting me know .
Enjoy your holiday in Turkey .

Was hoping to see you at Zedfest today Sean. It's been a year and plenty of work done on my Z3. Brought it to the event. Even the engine bay was cleaned!
Not seen you on here for a while, I was hoping to make the event but way too far behind on my 2.8, would have been nice to meet up again and see the changes you have made

Cause it'll pass Pete! Give it a wash before you go lol!....

I've emailed Donington park to ask if we can meet at the Pit Stop cafe in the pits /paddock area.
There is some club racing event on that day which means the cafe will be open but not sure if they'll let us in the paddock area, we'll see.
If not we can meet at the motor museum car park.
I'll let you know.

Hi Jonny, you're more than welcome to join us. It's a nice little group so you'll feel at home.
I'll add you to the list .

Steve.

Altered the departure time to be a little later, it's now 10.30a.m to give people a bit more time to get there.
Not heard back from Donington park so we'll meet at the motor museum which is at the main entrance.
There is a security barrier / guard, just tell him you're going to the museum and he'll let you through no problem.

Steve.
