So much easier these days Brian, since they started to use 2 or even 1 small screw to locate them isn't it? Apart from VW who decided to use allen screws - bad idea.

Is it to do with the brake cylinder it installs the circlips to hold them into the back plate

Well done Brian, I knew someone would get there. I will take some pictures when I put the cylinders onto the back plates.

ps. The two different threaded bits are for Metric and Imperial threaded cylinders.
