Damn useful thing at times, made getting a Shogun starter motor out so much easier, normally takes a bunch of extensions and a UJ, this magic tool saves a lot of hassle. And knuckle. Anyone doing mechanical stuff on anything like a regular basis should seriously consider one, even at the silly price they cost. Just to survive a fiddly job like that without losing any blood makes it worthwhile. Still a stupid place to put the gearbox dipstick, though.
Ramble over. For now.:)

Mine gets regular use mate. Heck of a lot on drop links and anti roll bar mounting.

Still considering a 1/4" drive next month, if I do I'll probably go for the D.I.Y.one.

I haven't used mine yet but no doubt it will make it's debut next weekend

You won't need it often, but you'll be glad you've got it, can pretty much guarantee that. If I could show you my un-blemished knuckles...Being able to work a ratchet while keeping away from the sharp sticking-out bits is wonderful.

You'll find many used Garry only limited by your imagination. Keep it in sight and it will remind you to use it, otherwise you just do what you've always done.

I'll definitely use it to refit the Zeds exhaust manifold after deskinning my knuckles getting it off. I actually ordered it the day after I got it off

I got the "pro" version Pete as I intended giving it a hard time at work, up to now I've been impressed.

Well, it let me down today, or the 1/2 to 3/8 male to male adaptor did. Trying to be a smart-ar5e getting the rear caliper of my horse-van and the bolts were tighter than I was expecting, snapped the adaptor, and can't find one anywhere. Male to female no problem, male to male non-existant. May have to try Tite-reach in Amerikkka to get one. Unless anyone has any recommendations?

You could try looking on Snap-On and Mac Tools website Mick. But in all honesty I have never seen one like that anywhere else.

Popped round to see a chum of mine this evening, he suggested one of the push-through torque wrench 1/2" drive pieces with a 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor on it. Makes it a bit bigger, but would work, just have to see what the Tite Reach importer has to say, that'll be tomorrow, I guess. Maybe putting a 30" breaker bar on it wasn't the best idea I ever had.

I said I was going to test mine mate, if it breaks well then the warranty should come into play?;) If you need one carrying home give me a shout.:)

Still waiting on a reply from Trust Parts (importer), should come under warranty but will find out sometime. Was a big bar and a tight caliper bolt, maybe a bit too much for any 3/8" adaptor. Ho hum. That'll teach me to try an easy way to do things, much better to stick to the tried-and-tested hard way.
