The time has come to get that scratch from last years Cotswold cruise fixed. I took the back bumper and rear wings off yesterday to take to the sprayer on Monday.
Having removed the panels, it is hard to believe that this is a sixteen year old car with 112,000 miles on the clock.

I don't know until I pick them up, I have used this chap for a long time, he is not cheap but he is a perfectionist. he did a few cars for Wheeler Dealers on TV

She looks good under the tin work Mike, as you say for 16 years old. Will look mint when you get them re-fitted mate. Look forwards to seeing the panels back on. So easy to take apart though, makes it within reach of a lot of people if they just have a go.:)

It is surprisingly easy, the only trouble is I don't really like working on it in the garage, I prefer a bit more room.

Nice one Mike, It was the same when I stripped mine, shocked at the lack of corrosion

I get that Mike, I'm lucky in that I have a double garage with only one occupant, and it ain't a VW.;)=))

Tony.

ps. Might be an MG MIdget next weekend though.

My garage at home is way to small to work in, thats why I take the car to work every Saturday, I like space, would love one the size of yours @t-tony (and before anyone mentions it, I mean garage)

Glad you cleared that up bud!=))

Tony.

My garage is actually slightly larger than the Zedshed but there is too much junk in it. :)

T**T!!=))=))=))

Just a thought Mike, are you going to get rid of those weights behind the rear bumper?
Remember some people having problems with them rattling.

No they are nice and firmly fixed, I am planning to give them a coat of Hammerite to get rid of the surface rust. I took one off today out of curiosity and weighed it they are 15 pounds.
