I've decided Bluebird needs a bit of T.L.C. Santa came a bit early, and brought some nice presents ready for the off. Hopefully it will start towards the end of next week. It's getting exciting. 
Time for a respray.

2 sills and 2 front wings by any chance, are you getting them to treat the inner sill whilst they are in there, also worth a wax oil while they are off, good luck

It's going to be the same colour again @TaffDaddy. I do like the topaz blue, but my head was getting turned by some nice candy apple reds. I decided to stay with blue because I have the blue and black interior. I think I will change the hardtop to blue to match, although I am quite fond of the silver.
A contrast is good, but it has to be the right one IMHO.

Matching hardtop colour and the car will look superb resprayed in topaz blue!
Any good oil based shultz will last for years mate
Had Reggie done 3 years ago. Had a couple of issues with it since but happy again with it now.
Time for a quick update on this thread. After being messed about by my original choice of paint shop, I have found a new one. I think I got lucky here, because the new place is spot on. I have been told every panel will be coming off, and they will get the wheels sorted at the same time. It's going to cost a few hundred more, but will be a far better job. I called in today and they have started the strip down. 
I have looked at the panels they have removed. The wings are saveable, but the sill covers are past it.
What do you do when you have a Zed shaped hole in your garage? Look after someone else's. I have been entrusted to look after @ZTec's beautiful Zed.

The chasis rails beneath the sill covers look in good shape Phil, are they going to fettle them while the covers are off ?. Worth doing at this stage.
